Art Therapy Supervision

All sessions are currently offered online.
I am offering a special series of group consultations this fall for art therapists focussed on applying trauma aware, somatic, polyvagal approaches to art therapy. There will be a session dedicated to adults, one for working with children/youth and a special experiential to support your nervous system in sessions. Click here for more information. I am a registered art therapist (RCAT) with CATA and therefore the supervision that I provide is for professional art therapists looking to register with CATA (BCATA will count our hours as well).
Please note the supervision that I provide does not count towards BCACC registration and is for art therapists only.
I also provide consultations for therapists/teachers/community support workers/caregivers-parents looking to incorporate somatic, nervous system aware, trauma informed, neurodivergent affirming approaches into their practices and this can be provided as team training workshops as well as individual consultation format.
In addition, I support art therapists training in somatic experiencing exploring ways of incorporating SE into their art therapy approach. Please note that this does not count towards SE consultation hours at this time.
I also support therapists training in SE that work with children and youth explore ways of incorporating this new approach into their practice.
The supervision that I provide is guided by my values which you can explore more here. My approach to supervision is collaborative, arts-based, embodied and guided by art therapy methodology rooted in eco-systemic, feminist, anti-oppression, person centred, polyvagal, attachment and phenomenological frameworks. Please be aware that currently my schedule is quite full and spots are limited.
I love the work we do and it brings me great joy to muck about, explore, and grapple with the complexities of it all with you. I recognize the reciprocal nature of supervision and also want to name and recognize the tremendous lived experience and work experience that you bring to our sessions.
Rates
GST is included in all sessions.
$150 – 50 minutes -professionals
$120 - 50 minutes -students
Group rate:
$85 for 2 hours

I accept payment by credit card and e-transfer. E-transfers can be made to kgrabner.therapy@gmail.com
Cancellation Policy
I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Missed appointments, and appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hour notice are charged the full session fee. COVID NOTE: If you are feeling ill in any way, please let me know and we will cancel or postpone your session to another day (with NO cancellation fee).
